The G-Sport is TEC's most versatile and affordable full-size grill. Made in America of 304 stainless steel and retailing at an unbelievable $1499, this grill employs TEC's newest, patent-pending, 100% infra-red grilling system that has the lowest turndown of any infra-red grill available today. On low fire it smokes (200 degrees F), on high fire it sears (800 degrees F), and large pieces of meat cook to perfection without a rotisserie.
Because the G-Sport cooks with 100% infra-red energy, there is no hot air to dry out food, so food retains more of its own natural juices. Even well done meats remain tender and juicy. The new burner system in this grill distributes heat evenly across the cooking grids - there are no hot or cold spots - so every square inch of grilling surface is available for cooking. This uniform distribution of heat in combination with the speed of infrared grilling enable the G-Sport to cook more than twice the food of comparable size convection grills.
The G-Sport is designed to be used on an optional pedestal base (304 stainless/$499) or as a tabletop/countertop model and has even been tested and approved for use on top of combustible surfaces such as wood or paper. The convenient design of this grill makes it easy to transport. Tool/towel bars located on either side of the grill also serve as handles. As a replacement for traditional built-in units, the G-Sport can sit directly on the countertop of an island without being permanently mounted. This allows grill owners the flexibility of grilling on any area of their island and also of moving their grill and using the entire countertop for serving. The G-Sport provides instant electronic ignition and is designed to be used with a twenty lb. LP gas tank. It can also be converted for natural gas use with a TEC conversion kit.
