This Dimplex 39″ Standard Built In Fireplace includes a patented realistic flame effect. The unit also has built-in manual switches such as the main on/off power switch. Along with the on/off switch for the heater. It may also be wired with separate wall switches (not included) to control the flame, and an optional wall thermostat to control the heater.

We purchased a complete kit (wood, burner and remote control) for around $1,800, which is about what I had expected from my online research.
I would have given 5 stars but the kit did not include teflon tape (a few dollar item), it would have been nice to include or at least have mentioned it in the sales process and have it available at the store.
